Kind words from Handmade Wonderful after seeing us at Crafty Bastards in Silver Spring:
Crafty Bastards - June 2008: These mini gardens from Greenware Design were featured at the first booth I visited. They were also the most creative items at the fair! The plants last about 3-4 months, according to the website. That may sound like a short time, but afterwards the lovely ceramic planter is still there and can be reused for a new mini garden! This idea is perfect for adding some green to tiny apartments with just a little window, since not everyone can have ample space for gardening.

In May 2008, an editor from the Atlanta Daily Candy was in Savannah and spotted our planters at shopSCAD and had this to say about them:
Pot Luck: Harebrained schemes are your forte. Getting a Popsicle delivery service off the ground? Brilliant. But ill-fated.
Best leave inspired collabos to SCAD grads. Like the duo behind Greenware Design.

Holly Becker, the mastermind of Decor8 kindly featured us along with other etsians on her blog:
Plants? On Etsy? Oh yes! Greenware Design - A Savannah-based
design duo make up this small business. Here?s my new porcelain piece, hand-crafted by one of the artists, filled with love by the other.
These are really small, but they?re absolutely darling, sweet for a window or on a bedside table. I love the little feet.

We loved what The South had to say about us:
Gardens to Go: Local design team brings together miniature landscapes and elegant pottery to give even the busiest green thumbs a garden they can handle.
McCollam's handcrafted containers are finely sculpted for a sleek, understated look that wouldn't be out of place at the Apple offices. The plants are selected and arranged by Geer, whose practical sensibilities would make your grandma proud.
